[Web-cyradm] table lookup problem

Hello,

what could cause this problem:

Apr 21 11:48:30 athena postfix/smtp[28460]: warning: connect to mysql server
localhost: Can't connect to
 local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
Apr 21 11:48:30 athena postfix/smtp[28460]: fatal:
mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-mydestination.cf(0,lock|fold_fix): table lookup
problem

Mail server was working fine till today. The mysql tables in the "mail"
database are fine:

athena:/var/log# mysqlcheck mail -u cyc -p
Enter password:
mail.accountuser                                   OK
mail.adminuser                                     OK
mail.alias                                         OK
mail.domain                                        OK
mail.domainadmin                                   OK
mail.log                                           OK
mail.search                                        OK
mail.settings                                      OK
mail.virtual                                       OK

Mysql itself is also OK ... does someone has a clue what's wrong all of a
sudden?
