Okay :

- In validate.inc.php on line 687 the sql-query contains field names 
qouted with ' which lead to errors with PostgreSQL (8.1.3 on Linux). 
Removing them let me add extra mail addresses for users again ...

- The initial setup of the database is a little clumsy. I will try to 
fix all the sql-script errors for pgsl and have a look at easier inital 
loading of the admin user.
