Hi all,
At the moment the CVS repository is being migrated from CVS to SVN.
SVN has some benefits over CVS:
- Better and simpler way of authenticate users
- For each branch/tags and the trunk authentication can be different
- move, delete and rename files and folders without loosing the history
- Easy creation of changesets
The SVN repository is hosted on the HA Cluster of bit-heads GmbH and
will thus be backed up on a daily base.
The Repository itself is already migrated, all history is also migrated.
CVS users will keep the username and password.
The CVS repository is locked, no checkin or checkout is possible anymore.
However, at the moment I'm struggling with proper authentication, thus
access is not available. Tomorrow afternoon (CEST) I'll work on it and
authentication will work then.
For a look how SVN works please read the free SVN e-book at:

Have fun
Luc
