[Web-cyradm] 404 error (resolved)

I'm not sure I really understand it:
The situation was that I had two overlapping virtual hosts (actually
pointing to the same place so i didn't notice it previously), and one
default host. The two virtual hosts were mail.domain1.com and
mail.domain2.com with the default host being www.domain2.com

the default host was obviously picking up the correct pages and serving
them throughout the rest of the site but it seems like when i tried to
click on a link with domain1.com in the header from webcyradm, apache
was picking it up as belonging to the wrong virtual host and therefore
was unable to serve the page.
the only thing i don't get is why i was getting a 404 in webcyradm and
not in apache...

removing the virtual hosts has solved the issue. i shall replace them
again later in the week when i have more time.

i should really try crafting some more urls with domain1.com in them and
seeing where they get sent but i don't have time at mo...
i'm still trying to fight with suse9.1 to get virtual hosts to work
correctly as yast just won't do it and i don't want to make any mods
that will break upgrades. if anyone has any suggestions - all
appreciated...(will be googling later)
