[Web-cyradm] Password length and max # of MySQL connections

It seems that no one can answer my questions from the past week...

1. IMAPD and POP3D from cyrus-imapd-2.1.12 accept only first 8 chars from
passwords. Why ? My users have more than 8-chars passwords... Is there a
possibility to set max length somewhere ? Has the newer (2-2-3) version
this problem too ?

2. I had to set max-connections parameter for MySQL startup, because
default value "100" caused a lot unsuccessful logins into IMAP and POP3
daemons (PAM logger reported this: "MySQL:too many connections"). IS there
a better workaround of this ?

3. A couple of ideas for Luc, what would I like to have in next
web-cyradmin release:
   - Do some statistic/log analysis pages... for example - which mailboxes
are over quota..., who didn´t log for a long time... I think that
logging into mail database is quite useless now.
   - I´d like to have a possibility to delete all e-mail messages from
choosen mailbox directly from web-cyradmin interface (for exmaple -
user asks me to delete all e-mail from his mailbox, there are several
thousands of messages and over a slow dial-up line it takes long time
to delete with IMAP client).

Thanx for any reply.
