Howdy!
I promised it, and here it is. It is a basic HOWTO for installing a
Web-Cyradm system on Fedora Core 1 and Redhat 9. It takes into account
the oddities of both systems.
I have tested the setup on a Redhat 9 and a Fedora Core 1 server. Both
servers were fresh installs with all the latest updated RPMs installed.
They had basic functionality to send and receive messages with IMAPS and
SMTPS with authentication.
The HOWTO is very strait forward. For more explanation of why steps are
needed, refer to the similar step in the main HOWTO on
http://www.web-cyradm.org. Later versions of my HOWTO will be more
verbose. This first iteration is aimed to get it out the door and get
the technical aspects of it tested.
Try it out and let me know if it works or not. If you have any
questions/comments/thoughts/interests/demands about the HOWTO, shoot me
an email.
The HOWTO can be found at:

The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new
discoveries, is not "Eureka!" (I found it!) but "That's funny"
