[Web-cyradm] SMTP AUTH doesn't work

After having fixed/changed everything like I wrote in my previous mail,
I still cannot do SMTP AUTH.

HOWEVER, I'm now getting a different error message:

Apr 4 18:39:48 debian postfix/smtpd[26243]: connect from
port-212-202-190-206.reverse.qdsl-home.de[212.202.190.206]
Apr 4 18:39:48 debian postfix/smtpd[26243]: warning: SASL
authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: No such file
or directory
Apr 4 18:39:48 debian postfix/smtpd[26243]: warning: SASL
authentication failure: Password verification failed
Apr 4 18:39:48 debian postfix/smtpd[26243]: warning:
port-212-202-190-206.reverse.qdsl-home.de[212.202.190.206]: SASL PLAIN
authentication failed

The new message is:

SASL authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: No such
file or directory

Which file is it missing? Setting debug_peer_level to 9 also doesn't
show which file it means.

I've now also created the directory
/var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd, which contains the mux file from
saslauthd (and I replaced /var/run/saslauthd with a symlink to
/var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd).

Still no go

Hmm, after having restarted postfix and saslauthd, I now get this error
message:

Apr 4 18:52:52 debian postfix/smtpd[26814]: warning: SASL
authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: Permission
denied

So, it SEEMS to have something to do with var/run/saslauthd. Which
permissions does it need to have?

root at email-server:/var/run# ls -la /var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd/
